I worked with Garnet for many years at APP Pharmaceuticals. She always had a smile and would put up with my dumb jokes. We would often laugh and complain to each other about the politics and shenanigans of the job. The conversations however would usually come around to comments about one or another of her daughters. Her eyes would light up and I could always tell from the way she told her stories how proud she was of her kids and how much she loved them.
I hadn't seen Garnet for years until I arrived with the ambulance crew recently to take her to the hospital. Despite feeling as bad as she did, she was kindly, and thanked us repeatedly for helping her. We don't see that on our calls very much.
My sincere sympathy to Garnet's family and friends. It was an honor to know her. She is a great lady and I look forward to seeing her again.

I want to extend my sincere sympathy to Shawn, Dawn and Kelly and their families on the loss of your beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I had the pleasure of knowing Garnet for the past seven years from Dr. Dowd's office. She enjoyed sharing stories with me about her little Abby. Garnet was always so kind and had such a warm personality. May you find comfort in knowing that others will miss her too. Heaven has certainly gained an angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Gail

Dear Shawn and family,
I was deeply saddend to see the passing of your Mom in the Gazette! Going back to our teen years, she was always a joy and one of the "cool moms" in our group! I remember she always had a nice smile even when we were all "quiet a handful"!
As years went by, it seems she had a great life, when reading her obituary. I know she will be missed dearly by her family and friends, but....will always be in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Now she's an angel looking down and watching over you.
God's Blessing to you and your entire family...until we meet again...Sincere Sympathies, Heather and family xx

My condolences to Garnets family. It was a honor and pleasure to be Garnet's visiting nurse a while back. I would always enjoy listening to her stories about her family and walking through her yard admiring all her hard work. She will be sadly missed.

To the family of Garnet
My condolences to all of you.
It was a pleasure knowing Garnet both as a neighbor and a fellow church member of NRMC.
Garnet was always working in her yard even when one knew she wasn't feeling well,
She loved walking Abbey almost every day the weather was good.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family..
Know she is at peace and no longer suffering.
RIP Garnet you will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to Garnet's family. I worked at APP with Garnet for quite a few years and she would do anything for anyone. I missed her when she retired. I'm glad she enjoyed her family for a while. She is in a better place now resting comfortably!
