We were sorry to hear of Dee's passing; we so enjoyed knowing Dee & Obie during our time in Hawaii & after. Dee helped us find a new dog & gave us a dog basket for her when we needed dog for our boys.

Obie our heartfelt condolences go out to you. Dee was incredible and made a lasting impression on Jacob. She always went out of her way to make him feel special whenever he was with us at the club. She always took the time to make Danae feel welcome. She was warm and caring, truthful and honest. She was also a great Elk and together with you make me proud to be an Elk. She will always have a special place in our hearts.

I knew Dianne well. Dianne, like many of her co-workers, traveled all over the country providing financial aid to hapless disaster victims. The living conditions were less than desirable; the hours were long and you seldom had a day off. Yet, Diane never turned down an assignment, and never asked to come home--even after months on the road. Dianne was well-respected by her supervisor and her peers.
And Dianne was best friends with one of her co-workers, Betsy Knab. Betsy and Dianne were on at least two assignments: One in Texas and the other in California. Betsy has MS. She needed help getting around and Dianne was always there for Betsy. Dianne took her to work, to dinner, and made sure Betsy got home safely. Betsy never had a better friend on the road.
I will remember Dianne as a dedicated worker. She had a pleasant demeanor and a strong work ethic. But most memorable was her willingness to share her free time with someone who needed a helping hand.

I am saddened by the death of a wonderful woman and friend. Dee was one of my first friends when I moved to Hickam AFB. We shared many laughs, a few tears and just enjoyed each other's company. Heaven's gain is our loss. My thoughts and prayers to Obie and her family.

Rest in peace, Dianne. We all miss you at DCMS. You were a joy to work with and always had the answers to the difficult questions. All the special treats you brought in were enjoyed by everyone in the office, especially the pepper jellies. It brought tears of joy to my eyes the first tiem you brought in the anise cookies as they were exactly how my grandmother made them, and I hadn't had them since she passed away back in 1981!

I still remember the day I met you and Obie at the Farm. The best part of the meeting was you became family, taking care of my horses and dogs while I travelled. You will be missed. May you rest in peace and look over all of us.
