Doris E. Bell, age 93 formerly of Dekalb and Brasher Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday February 15, 2015 in the Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Newfane, NY.
Doris was born August 22, 1921 in Rochester, VT, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Besaw) Murray. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Bell whom she married on March 12, 1937. They had 11 children.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas (late Grace), Benjamin (Charlene), and Curtis (Susan) Bell; a daughter, Lettie (Peter) Seefeldt; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by five sons, Donald, William Jr., David, Carl, and Calvin Bell and two daughters, Linda and Louise Bell.
Services and interment at the Dekalb Cemetery, Dekalb Junction, NY will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a Hospice of one's choice.
