Anthony Fay

Anthony E. "Tony" Fay, age 35 of Ransomville, died unexpectedly after a brief illness on Tuesday January 27, 2015 in Buffalo General Hospital. Tony was born June 9, 1979 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of Dorothy (Pitzer) Fay of Ransomville and the late Frederick E. Fay. A lifelong resident of Ransomville, he was a 1979 graduate of Wilson High School. Tony received two A.A.S. Degree's from Niagara County Community College. The first was in 1999 in Political Science and the second was in 2010 in Philosophy. These were followed by B.S. Degree's first in Political Science in 2001 and the second in 2012 in Philosophy, both from University of Buffalo. In 2014 he received his M.S. in Philosophy from U.B.. At the time of his passing Tony was working towards his PhD in Special Education. Tony also worked for many summers at Artpark in Lewiston. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Pitzer) Fay; his siblings, Frederick, David, Christine, Kathleen, Steven M. (Katie), Daniel (Dawn), Jonathan (Lori), Michael and Gary Fay, Angela (Craig) Lyon, Roseanne Doyle, Ramona (Kurt) Schafsteck, and Elizabeth (David) Sokolowski; 33 nieces and nephews and 30 great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 31, at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Town Line Rd. (Rte. 429) Ransomville, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating. (Please assemble at Church). Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. Memorials may be made to the South Wilson Volunteer Fire Co.
