Obituary of Vincent A. McMahon

Vincent A. McMahon, age 84 of Lewiston passed away Thursday December 11, 2014 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing care Residence in Lewiston.
Vincent was born February 21, 1930 in Montclair, NJ, the son of the late William and Irene (Rice) McMahon and went through High School in Bloomfield, NJ. He moved to Lewiston with his wife Anna from Sunrise, FL in 2010.
Vincent was an U.S. Army Veteran of Korea, serving from 1951 to his honorable discharge in 1953. He served with the 187th Regimental Combat Team, 1st Army Infantry. Vincent was a member of the International Brotherhood of Operating Engineers, Local 94A in New York City. He was employed at the World Trade Center and the Trump Tower. Previous to that Vincent was employed by the Brunswick Bowling Corporation for 15 years and was a member of the Brunswick "300" Club for bowling perfect games.
He was a communicant of the Church of St. John De Lasalle in Niagara Falls. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, and sports as a spectator. He was much loved and will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Anna, whom he lovingly called "My Annie"; his daughters, Robin Lynn (John) Blosser, Holly Beth Frankel, Janet McMahon, and Linda (Michael) Callas; his sons, Robert M. (Joanie) McMahon, Jr. and Barry (Shannon) McMahon; his brothers, John "Jack" and Robert McMahon; his sisters; Mary Ann O'Meara and Barbara Swan; his grandchildren, Jordan, Kevin, and Max McMahon, Christina, Nicole, and Rachel Callas, Sean Pitts, Nicholas, Jacob, and Kaitlyn Frankel, Robert and Allison Blosser; a great grandson, Hayden Isaiah McMahon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, James, and William McMahon, Jr.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Monday from 6 - 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 16, at 10:00 AM in the Church of St. John De LaSalle, 8477 Buffalo Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with the Rev. Slawomir Siok officiating.(Please assemble at Church). Inurnment with Military Honors will follow in All Saints Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. of WNY, 2805 Wherle Dr. Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221-7380.
