Obituary of Norma L. Robinson

Norma L. Robinson, age 79 of Ransomville died Wednesday December 10, 2014 in the Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center after a brief illness. Norma was born January 30, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Hallam) Rule. On June 7, 1957 she married Richard L. Robinson and they resided in Ransomville where she assisted him in the running of their Christmas Tree Farm. Norma was a member of the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge as well as a member of its' Ladies Aid Society. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, and crossword puzzles. She loved children and her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren. Her husband, Richard, predeceased her on June 16, 2013. She is survived by her sons, Matthew Robinson of Ransomville and Kevin Robinson of Niagara Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Daniel (Stephanie) Robinson of Niagara Falls, NY, Michael and Jeffrey Robinson of Ransomville; three sisters, Audrey Horn of Louisiana, Jane (William) Kirk of the Town of Cambria, and Betty Keagan of Tonawanda, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mae Holly and a brother, Vernon Rule. Funeral Services with interment in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery will be private. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd.
