Obituary of William J. "Billy" Leonard, III

William J. "Billy" Leonard, III, age 24 of Ransomville, came to be at peace with his Lord and Savior on Thursday December 4, 2014.
A lifelong resident of Ransomville, Billy was born July 13, 1990 in Buffalo, the son of William J., Jr. and Deirdre B. (Fabbiano) Leonard of Ransomville. He was a 2008 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and English Literature from Niagara University in 2012. Billy loved the theatre and was an active member of Niagara University's Theatre Student (NUTS). He loved attending Broadway shows and going to Disney in Florida. Billy worked as a clerk at Tops Market in Lewiston for 7 years as well as a clerk for 2 years at the Dunkin Donuts in Ransomville and Niagara Falls. His customers and co-workers remember him for his kind and gentle ways.
Billy was a communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Ransomville where he had taught Vacation Bible School, was active in the Catholic Youth Organization, and other ministries in the church.
In addition to his parents, Billy is survived by his three sisters, Alicia C. (Deanna) Leonard, Cassandra A. Leonard (Jacob Sicoli), and Jacqueline D. Leonard (Scott Falla); three brothers, Anthony H., Jonathan R., and Daniel N. Leonard; his beloved, John Cintron; his maternal grandparents, John P. and Tamara J.(Hoffmann) Fabbiano; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, William and Caroline (Sutton) Leonard and his Aunt Mary Roof, his godmother.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM and Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 10, at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception RC Church,4671 Townline Rd. (Rte 429) Ransomville, with the Rev. James Bastian and the Rev. Joseph Badding officiating. (Please assemble at Church). Flowers are gratefully declined.
