Dear Carl & Family,
Learning more about Ginny by reading the obituary, I see how little we know of the amazing lives of others when we know them only for a small chunk of time, as my connection with Ginny via the Grand Island "Read & Feed" book group. I do remember that she reviewed a book for us in such analytical detail that it put us all to shame! "Oh, so THAT'S how we're supposed to be doing book reviews!" She leaves us with many good lessons on caring for others, as well as loving reading and learning first-hand about the wonders of our world. Thanks to her and to Carl and the family who shared her life with us.

To Carl & Family,
Terribly sorry to hear of your loss. Ginny was a very good-natured person, and we had a lot of fun with you all as neighbors.

Ginny was a valued member of our Grand Island book club. She had so much to share of her many trips, children, grandchildren and love of learning. She will be missed. Beth

Ginny McMurtry was one of the most caring people to have graced this planet. I am so grateful to have known her and to have seen her mother's and grandmother's love in action. As I write this, I am remembering a lovely walk on a Cape Cod beach with Ginny, who was full of interesting anecdotes and observations of the world around us. We were celebrating Nathalie's fourth birthday that year. I will remember Ginny's smile and laughter and enjoyment of those special occasions which brought our families together.
