Obituary of Elaine D. Moltrup

Elaine Diane (Clement) Moltrup, age 56, of Newfane, NY, entered into heaven at her home under Hospice Care on June 16, 2014.
A longtime resident of Ransomville, Elaine graduated from Wilson High School in 1976. During her youth, she traveled and sang in New Image for 4 years. As a lifelong member of the Ransomville Free Methodist Church, she taught Sunday school for numerous years. She also spent time teaching and directing the Christian Youth Club. Elaine was also very involved in the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. A member for 20 years, she spent 15 of those years as the Wedding Coordinator, 2 years as the Vice-President, and 1 year as the President. Other ways she contributed the Ransomville Committee was through chairing the Lighting of the Wreaths for multiple years and serving on the Town of Porter Board of Recreation for 14 years. Most of all, Elaine loved spending time and making memories with her family.
She is survived by her husband, William Todd Moltrup whom she married January 20, 1989; her children, Christopher (Courtney) Lederhouse, Chad (Pamela) Lederhouse, Megan Moltrup, and Erika Moltrup. She is also survived by her parents, John and Marvel Clement; her sister, Karen (Douglas) Magee and brother, John (Sharon) Clement. Elaine also leaves behind two grandchildren, Madison and Noah Lederhouse as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 18, at 11:00 am in the Ransomville Free Methodist Church, 3924 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, with the Rev William Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd. Town of Cambria. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Elm & Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263
