A smile that could light up a room, that's how I will always remember Doug Diez! From the time I was a little girl until the last time I saw him few years ago, he ALWAYS had a great big smile and kind words to say -- even when we were standing at the sink washing dishes at turkey dinners!!
May the memories of your husband/father/friend warm your heart at this difficult time.

Connie and family -- Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Doug was a wonderful guy. Many years ago, we were in the same youth group for our churches. He was a special friend. Connie, I remember you and I being in Jr. Stars together. May God Bless you all.

Mr Diez was the kindest man I ever met. Everyday when I put my children on the bus he always greeted them and myself with a great smile. I knew my children were going to be safe on that ride to school. He loved all the children on the bus and they loved him back. He will be missed by myself and my 3 children who had the pleasure of him touching our lives. Rest in peace

As a fellow Lew-Port class mate, I know that Doug worked hard in organizing the Lew-Port Alumni Society. We enjoyed many class reunions. The last ,50th, I enjoyed very much meeting "the Old Gang". Thanks Doug, you will be missed by us all.

To the Diez Family......I was told by my mother and father of Doug's passing. I can fondly remember him being a huge pressence at Dickersonville Church and a huge part of that family! I can say that it is because of that family, at Dickersonville, that I am the person I am today. That smile, that laugh, and that caring way Doug had will always be with me and a part of me.
You and your fmaily are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless!!
