Obituary of Faye E. Myers

Faye E. Myers of Niagara Falls, NY, age 80, formerly of Lewiston, died Sunday April 6, 2014 in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, after a lengthy illness.
Faye was born August 22, 1933 in Murphy, NC, the daughter of the late James M. and Bessie (Johnston) Capps. She married Ronald E. Myers on July 23, 1960 and they had resided in Lewiston. Ronald predeceased her on September 7, 1999. Faye was a waitress and cook at many Lewiston restaurants, including Vince's, Murdoch's and Schneider's.
She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston. Faye loved bingo, crossword puzzles, and bowling. She was secretary of her league at Frontier Lanes for many years.
She is survived by her son, Richard E. (Nancy) Myers of Niagara Falls, NY and her grandchildren, Heather Myers, Ann (Chris) Sinclair, Larry and Bobby (Kelly) Hickok.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Thursday, April 10, from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 pm, with the Rev. Elizabeth Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
