Obituary of Dorothy M. Bullock

Dorothy M. Bullock, of Lewiston, NY, died peacefully March 31, 2014 at age 87. She was born and grew up in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Fred and Florine (Gagnon) Jacobi, and attended local schools. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John (Jack) Bullock, Jr. Dorothy was well known for her zest for life. She was a long time member of Niagara Falls Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf and tennis with friends. She was an artist who loved painting and other crafts. She was a member of the Lewiston Garden Club. Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband and socializing with friends and family. She loved music and singing and would often break out into song to liven up a family get-together. Dorothy is also survived and dearly beloved by her family, including her sons, Russ (Robin), and Mark (Gloria); daughters Nancy (Craig) Starr, and Beverly (Ed) Goldschmidt; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister Clara Scott and brothers Robert, Jack, Meade, and Richard. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.
