Paul Kulniszewski

Paul F. Kulniszewski, age 70, died unexpectedly on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at his residence in Ransomville. Paul was born September 28, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Paul and Helen (Jawarski) Kulniszewski. He was a 1961 graduate of Lancaster High School and received an Associate's Degree from Canisius College. Paul spent his working career serving the public while employed by the NYS Park Police, the NYS Troopers, the Erie County Dept. of Corrections, and the Niagara Frontier Transit Authority from which he retired in 2004. He was happily retired in Ransomville with his wife, Denise (Schober) whom he married in 1995, and his dog. He spent his retirement tending to his gardens and feeding the wildlife. He will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Paul, David (Diona), and Joseph (Joann) Kulniszewski; a daughter, Catherine (Eric) Wedge; his thirteen beautiful grandchildren, Willem, Claire, Olivia, Ella, Grace, Morgan, Hailey, Ava, Cash, Millicent, Charlie, Piper, and Olivia; a brother, Daniel Kulniszewski; and three sisters, Joan Siudzinski, Dolly Rydlewski, and Patricia Dabb. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, at 11:00 am in St. Bernard's RC Church, Second & Hinman St., Youngstown, with the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Moran officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Memorials may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.
