William Yourston, III, age 63 of Wilson, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday February 8, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport after a lengthy illness. William was born January 5, 1951 in Buffalo, the son of the late William, II and Gloria (Carney) Yourston. He married Cheryl A. (Brown) Yourston on October 27, 1991 and they have lived in Wilson the past 23 years. William and his brother Kim Co-Owned and Operated their family business, KB Bilco Plumbing in Amherst, NY until Illness forced William to retire in 2010. William loved farming and had a small farm on Checker Tavern Rd. in Barker for a number of years. He also loved the outdoors and was an avid reader, especially about military history. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his devoted son, Stephan J. Yourston of Wilson; his dear brother, Kim (Deborah) Yourston of Amherst, NY; his loving nephews, Kim (Melissa) Jr. and Christopher Yourston; a great niece, Haylie Yourston as well as several other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Wednesday from 3 - 8 pm. A Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:00 PM with the Rev. Judith Lee officiating. Burial in the Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
