Obituary of Eileen L. Heinze

Eileen L. Heinze, 86, of Ransomville, died on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at her residence, under the loving care of her daughter and Niagara Hospice. Born in Cleveland, OH on November 27, 1926 to the late John B. and Frances (Seifert) Collins. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI and was awarded the March of Dimes Scholarship in the 1940's to work with Polio victims in Warm Springs, GA. In 1952, she was married to Richard R. Heinze, who passed away on November 10, 1996. Eileen started her working career at the University of Buffalo Chronic Disease Institute, Buffalo, NY, then at Mount View Hospital, Lockport, and then for the Dale Association Day Care for the Blind and Hearing Impaired as a Occupational Therapist. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Lewiston, NY since 1955 and the Bonds Lake Wildlife Club. Eileen is survived by her children, Anne Heinze of Buffalo, NY and Bruce Heinze of Crawfordville, FL; her grandchildren, Justin Heinze of Lewiston, and Radley Heinze of Fort White, FL; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Ryder and Jack; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held from St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 400 Ridge St., Lewiston, NY on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM. No Prior Visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Episcopal Relief & Development Fund, P.O. Box 7058, Merrifield, VA 22116-7058. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, Lewiston, NY.
