Obituary of Anthony S. Bajzik

Anthony S. Bajzik, 77, of Ransomville, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. Born in Chicago, IL, on September 16, 1936 to the late Anton and Helen (Hoffman) Bajzik. Anthony enlisted in the US Navy in April of 1955 and was assigned to the Fleet Aircraft Service Squadron and was an Aviation Electrician aboard the USS Yorktown until his Honorable Discharge on January 20, 1959. On November 29, 1966, Anthony was married to Arlene (Lorek) Bajzik and for the past 20 years have resided in Ransomville. He was employed at Bell Aerospace, Wheatfield, NY, as a Quality Assurance Engineer. He was a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business. Anthony was a devout Catholic and attended the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Youngstown. He loved the outdoors, wildlife, was avid sportsman and a member of the Iroquois Sportsman Club. In addition to his wife, Arlene; he is survived by his son, Michael Bajzik, of Ransomville; and grandson, Joseph Bajzik of Newfane. A Memorial Mass will be held from St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 1:30 PM with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. No Prior Visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, Ransomville.
