Obituary of Christine E. Palmatier

Christine E. Palmatier, age 25, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Good Shepard Hospice Facility in Lakeland, FL of cystic fibrosis. She was born April 13, 1988 in Niagara Falls, NY. She was adopted in June 1992 by her foster parents, Curt and Sharon Palmatier. After Curt passed away, Sharon remarried Al Strasburg who helped Sharon raise Christine. Christine lived in Ransomville until the family moved to Winter Haven in 1998. She graduated from Lake Regional High School in 2006. Christine was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and she attended Grace Lutheran Church on Saturday nights when she was able. Christine is survived by her mother, Sharon (Al) Strasburg of Winter Haven, FL; sisters, Deanna Palmatier of Winter Haven, Sherry (Ken) of Hamburg, twin brother William Blanco of North Carolina and half brothers Michael Human of Colorado and Thomas Human of Niagara Falls. She is survived by one niece, Marissa Nossick and three nephews, Ian, Shepard, and Isaac Snyder. She is also survived by her father's children, Ronald and Ellen Palmatier and Patricia Cassick. She leaves behind her childhood best friend Andrea Leggett and her boyfriend, Rambo Galica who was there for her to the end. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Clarence and Laura Blake and her uncles, Gary Blake and John Human. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 14, at 11:00 am in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd. Town of Cambria.
