Joann Rose

JoAnn W. Rose, age 52 of Niagara Falls NY, died Tuesday August 27, 2013 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness. Joann was born May 11, 1961 in Lewiston, the daughter of the late William and Joann (Vana) Rose and was a 1979 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School. She worked as a caregiver/aide for Staff Builders in Niagara Falls. JoAnn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston. She loved to garden, animals, and taking care of people. She is survived by her husband, Shawn McGee whom she married March 29, 2008; a son, Joseph Edminston; a grandson, Joseph Edminston; her brothers, Jeffrey V. , Gregory C. (Debbie), and Bradley Rose; and her twin sister, Christina Rose (Jeffrey W. Skowronski). Services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior visitation. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St., Lewiston, NY 14092. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
