Obituary of Frances M. Jeffery

Frances M. Jeffery, age 86 formerly of Shawnee Rd. in Sanborn, died Wednesday July 31, 2013 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness. Frances was born October 6, 1926 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Roy J. and Marie (LeRoy) Ellis. She was employed at Ransomville General Hospital, the medical offices of Dr. Joseph D'Errico and Dr. Juan DeRosa. Most recently Frances was employed for over 30 years as office manager for Dr. Prem Tambar, retiring in 2006. She was an accomplished seamstress often making formal gowns, draperies and slipcovers, knitting and crocheting gifts for family and friends. Frances was an avid reader and had donated her collection of fiction to the Ransomville Library. She was also an avid golfer and had recorded a hole-in-one at Willowbrook Golf Course. Most of all she enjoyed family gatherings. She is survived by two sons, Sidney (Carol) Jeffery of Lockport and Timothy (Pat Diez) Jeffery of Ransomville; two daughters, Janis Faery of Lockport and Suzanne (Donald) McGinnis of Ransomville; her grandchildren, Mike, Shawn, Kyle, Shannon, Dave, Melissa, Jeff, Juli, Scott, Christy, and Jillian; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Saturday, August 3, from 2 - 4 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 4:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
