Obituary of Donna M. Lanphear

Donna M. Lanphear, age 70 of Lewiston, died Tuesday May 28, 2013 while under the loving care of her devoted family and Niagara Hospice. Donna was born March 23, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Herschel and Ruth (Ball) Hill. She married Danny E. Lanphear on June 23, 1963 and they have resided in Lewiston the past 50 years. Donna enjoyed all kinds of fitness training, exercising, aerobics, kick boxing, and swimming. She loved spending time with her family at their summer property in the Southern Tier which she affectionately called "Green Acres". Donna also was involved with the Mother's Club in Youngstown. She is survived by her devoted husband, Danny; her children, Darla (Steve) Woodlee of Arlington, TX, Carla Eckerson and Darcy Lanphear both of Niagara Falls, NY, and Julie (Blake) Hill of Wilson; her grandchildren, Brian and Michael Eckerson, Austin and Shannon Glavin, Parker and Lauren Domenech; her step grandchildren, Kayla, Mason, and Jacob Woodlee; a great grandchild, Antonio Conte; and a sister, Debbie (Homer) Ervin of Lenoir City, TN. She was predeceased by a brother, Greg Hill. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday, May 31, from 3 - 7 PM. Memorial Services will begin at 7:00 PM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Lamb officiating. Burial will be private in the Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
