Obituary of Louise A. Curry

Louise A. Curry, age 72 of Ransomville, died Wednesday October 28, 2009 in the Eastern Niagara Hospital in Newfane after a lengthy illness. Louise was born November 30, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Raymond Bromhall and the late Dorothy P. (Felker) Bromhall Snyder. She was the step daughter to the late Charles E. Snyder. Louise attended Niagara Falls Schools and married Robert F. Curry on March 26, 1955. Robert predeceased her on September 1, 1979. Louise worked for a number of years as a transplanter for Faery's Greenhouses. She has lived independently in a wheelchair for the past 30 years. She enjoyed bingo, her grandchildren, sporting events, and traveling. She is survived by a daughter, Becky (Craig) Heigl of Newfane, three sons, Tim (Melody) Curry, Roger (Rosemary) Curry, and Randy (Candi) Curry all of Ransomville; a sister, Barbara Brown of Ransomville, 11 grandchildren,1 great granddaughter, and a dear friend, Raymond Morse. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 2, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Carl Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd. Town of Cambria.
