Obituary of Mary Lois Eames

Mary Lois Eames, age 87 of Lewiston, died Saturday December 15, 2012 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness.
Lois was born September 2, 1925 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Walter M. and Kathleen (Hogan) Eames. She was a graduate of Stella Niagara, Buffalo State Teachers College and received her Master's Degree in Education Administration from Niagara University.
Lois was employed by the Niagara Falls School District for 35 years. She first taught at the Maple Ave. School, then was principal at 10th & 13th Elementary School, and retired in 1982 as Principal at the Hyde Park School.
She was a communicant of St. Peter's RC Church in Lewiston and a member of the Niagara Falls Tatler Club.
Lois is survived by a brother, Charles Eames and a sister, Kathleen (late David) McMurray both of Youngstown; a sister in law, Patricia Eames of Lewiston; and seven nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Francis Eames.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Tuesday from 3 - 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 19, at 12:00 noon in St. Peter's RC Church,600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Michael Zuffoletto officiating.(Please assemble at Church). Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers are gratefully declined.
