Pauline Dziewit

Pauline D. Dziewit, age 95 of Niagara Falls NY, died Thursday December 6, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. Birdy was born October 9, 1917 in Taylor, PA, the daughter of the late Peter and Dolores (Bereaga) Sojocka and lived most of her life in Niagara Falls. She married Joseph Dziewit at Sacred Heart RC Church in Niagara Falls in 1940. Joseph predeceased her in 1966. Birdy enjoyed music, dancing, singing and playing her harmonica. Most of all she loved being with her family. She is survived by a son, John (Jean) Dziewit of Lewiston; a daughter, Carol (Donald) Trainor of Kenmore, NY; her grandchildren, Donald, Thomas, Deborah, Jonathon, and Michael Trainor, Meredith and Johnny Dziewit; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Saturday, December 8, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
