Obituary of William C. Cramer, Sr.

William C. Cramer, Sr., age 73 of Ransomville, passed into the arms of Jesus Christ on Sunday December 2, 2012 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness. William was born March 18, 1939 in Houtzdale, PA and has lived here the past 60 years. He was an Iron Worker out of Ironworkers Union Local #9 in Niagara Falls, NY for 35 years, retiring in 1995. On March 23, 1963, he married Emily Linda (Baptiste) Cramer and together they raised their four children. William was a member of the Tuscarora Baptist Church. He was an avid collector, especially of oil lamps and was a member of the Aladdin Lamp Club. He enjoyed hunting with his sons and being with his family and grandchildren. William will always be remembered as a loving husband and father. He is survived by his beloved wife, Emily; his children, William Clarence Cramer, Jr. of Ransomville, Mary Lynn Plotner of Newfane, Russell Stewart Cramer and Robert Aaron Cramer both of Ransomville; his grandchildren, Grace Lynn, Sarah Rose, and Elisabeth Mae Plotner, and Keeydon Joseph Patterson. He was predeceased by an infant son, Michael Allen Cramer. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 7, at 11:00 AM in the Tuscarora Baptist Church, 2088 Mount Hope Rd, Sanborn, with the Rev. Walter Printup officiating.(Please assemble at Church). Burial will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Military Rd. Lewiston. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
