Obituary of Wilfred A. Jones, Sr.

Wilfred A. "Will" Jones, Sr., age 71 of Ransomville, died Sunday November 4, 2012 at his residence under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice. Will was born August 30, 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Ralph and Delina (Bouly) Jones. He owned and operated AJJ Appliance Repair in the Town of Niagara and had been employed as a Sandblaster at Frontier Foundries in Niagara Falls for 22 years. Will enjoyed bowling and had bowled with a traveling league in Niagara Falls. He loved to hunt and fish with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing cards. Will married Carol Ann Jones on September 25, 1960. In addition to Carol he is survived by his sons, Joseph (Debbie) Jones of Ransomville, Raymond (Shawna) Jones of Wilson, Edward Jones of Ransomville, and Wilfred A. (Phil Biamonte) Jones, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter in law, Shelly Jones of Niagara Falls, NY; a brother, Roy (Barbara) Jones of Buffalo; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law. He was predeceased by a brother and sister in law, Ralph and Margaret Jones. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Wednesday from 2 -4 and 6- 9 pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 8, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. William Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd. Town of Cambria.
