Obituary of Anna L. Koroschetz

Anna L. Koroschetz, age 83 of Lewiston, died Saturday October 17, 2009 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness. Anna was born November 7, 1925 in Munich, Germany, and came to the United States after she had met and married Henry J. Koroschetz on August 14, 1951. They had settled in the Town of Lewiston in 1962. Henry predeceased her in 1982. Anna was affectionately known as "Mom" to all her many friends and family. She enjoyed playing Bingo, games, flower gardening and international travel, especially to her home country, Germany. She had a great fondness for animals, especially wolves, husky dogs, and cats. Anna is survived by her children, Henry (Maureen) Koroschetz of Ransomville, Joseph (Cecelia) Koroschetz of Deltona, FL, Anita (Marty) Martinez of El Paso, TX, Kathleen Thornton of Atlanta, GA, Paul (Susan) Koroschetz of Youngstown, David (Kathy) Koroschetz of Venice, FL, and Lucy Koroschetz of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, an adopted granddaughter, Julie Winters, and an adopted niece, Josie Giles. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Kargleseder . Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday, October 22, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 8:30 PM. A Memorial Service will held at 8:30 pm in the funeral home.
