Obituary of Louise S. Moore

Louise S. Moore, age 81 of Ransomville died Thursday September 27, 2012 at her residence under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Louise was born December 16, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Louise (Zoeblin) Haefele. She attended Niagara Falls High School and graduated in 1948. She then went to Bryant & Stratton where she majored in Secretarial Accounting. After graduation she worked as an accounting secretary at Moore Business Forms for two years. Louise married her only love, John C. Moore on September 25, 1954. They lived in Niagara Falls until they moved into their home that her husband John built in the Town of Wilson in 1959. Louise enjoyed crossword puzzles, soap operas, crocheting, playing the piano, singing, sewing, and flower and vegetable gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and home on Fitch road. She is survived by her husband, John C. Moore; her daughter, Diane H. (late Roger) Holycross of Ransomville; a son, David (Laura Westadt) Moore of Lewiston; and her grandchildren, Lindsey C., Sarah E., and Brett A. Moore. Funeral services will be held at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Monday, October1, at 11:00 am. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
