Obituary of Keith J.S. Edwards

Keith J.S. Edwards, 58, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on July 23, 2012 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Toronto, Ontario on August 11, 1953. He was employed at the Goodyear Co. and the Mack Trucking Co., both in Toronto. He also served in the Canadian Militia. Keith moved to Niagara County in 1989 and received his Nursing Degree from Niagara County Community College, and began working for SPS Home Care, DeGraff Hospital, and for 18 years was a LPN at the former Mt. St. Mary's Nursing Home, Main St., Niagara Falls, and continued at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Lewiston, until 2010. Keith enjoyed fishing, collecting baseball cards, going to garage sales, but mostly spending time with his grandchildren. On February 28, 1976, Keith was married to Renee M. (Pardee) Edwards, who passed away on October 20, 2008. He is survived by his children, Christina (Brian) Kelley, Gregory (Rebecca) Edwards, both of Niagara Falls, Kyle Edwards (Angelika Wojnerowicz) of Youngstown, Daniette Pardee (Donald Lewis) of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Madison Edwards, Maria Kelley, Laila Edwards, Kaiden Edwards, Hunter Lewis; an uncle, James (Nancy) Edwards of Ontario. He is also survived by his wife's siblings, Clayton (Cheryl) Pardee, Jr., Andrew (Linda) Pardee, Anthony (Robin) Pardee, Michael (Tammy) Pardee and Michelle (Matthew) Figura; along with several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville, on Sunday (July 29th) from 3:00 - 6:00 PM, with a memorial service to begin at 6:00 PM with Rev. Charles Lamb officiating. Inurnment will be held at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
