Obituary of Patricia Marotta

Patricia Marotta, age 83 of Lewiston died Sunday July 15, 2012 in Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Patricia was born December 9, 1928 in Lockport, NY, the daughter of the late Mark and Helen (Redner) Singer. She married Joseph J. Marotta on July 12, 1952 and they had resided in Lewiston since 1970. Joseph predeceased her on September 4, 2008. She enjoyed flower gardening and was a communicant of St. Peter's RC Church in Lewiston She is survived by a son, Peter (Wendy) Marotta of Wilson; a daughter, Deborah (Joseph) Loughran of Key Largo, FL; her grandchildren, Marcy McGill and Joseph Loughran both of Palm Beach, FL, Patrick Loughran of Long Beach, CA, and Mary Ann Dunning of Newfane; her great grandchildren, Madison, McKenzie, Evelyn and Geremiah; a sister, Margaret "Sally" (Roger) Schultz of Gasport, NY and a brother, George (Garnet) Singer of Wrights Corners, NY. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Flowers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 19, at 10:00 am in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Michael Zuffoletto officiating. (Please assemble at Church). There will be no prior visitation. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston.
