Obituary of Rosemary K. Flood

Rosemary K. Flood, age 56 of Youngstown was reunited with her beloved late husband, Roger, on Tuesday July 10, 2012 after being stricken at her home. Rosemary was born March 3, 1956 in Pierre, SD, the daughter of Marian (Flom) Ernst of Youngstown and the late John R. Ernst. She was a graduate of Theodore Riggs High School in Pierre, SD and has lived in Youngstown since her marriage to Roger B. Flood on December 23, 1988. Roger predeceased her on August 5, 2009. For the past 25 years, Rosemary has been the Property Manager for the Lewiston Villa Apartments. She was a beautiful person who would do anything for anyone. She loved family, friends, reading, computers, her cats and dogs, and life. Family was the most important part of her life. She had just moved her Mom from Bullhead City, AZ to share her beautiful home in Youngstown and to spend precious time together. God took her away too soon. We miss her terribly. She will always be in our hearts and souls. Go forth to Heaven Rosemary; May the daisy gardens greet you; Roger and dad are waiting for you; We will see you soon; Maybe during a full moon. In addition to her mother, Marian, she is survived by sister, Laurel (Dennis) Koenig of Aumsville, OR; three brothers, Leslie (Barbara) Ernst of Waubay, SD, Gary (Debra) Ernst of Watertown, SD, and Brian (Mary) Ernst of Volga, SD; her step children, Timothy Flood and Robin Trunzo both of Niagara Falls, NY and Wendy (Michael) Prause of Pine Plains, NY; and 7 step grandchildren. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday from 4 - 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July14, at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
