Florence Wood

Florence M. Wood, age 83 of Lewiston NY, died Saturday October 3, 2009 in Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in Buffalo, after short illness. Florence was born May 18, 1926 in Beverly, NJ, the daughter of the late Russell R. and Bertha (Bohn) Fuss. She was a graduate of Burlington High School in Burlington, NJ. Florence was an Administrative Secretary, employed by RCA in Moorestown, NJ until her retirement. She has resided in Lewiston the past eight years. Mrs. Wood was a member of the Beverly United Methodist Church in Beverly, NJ. She was the widow of Elmer Wood who predeceased her in 1985. She is survived by a son, Keith (Marianne) Gittermann of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Matthew (Megan), & Shannon Gittermann, and a sister, Rena (Rev. Dr. Thomas) Fletcher of Charlestown, SC. Funeral Services were private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston.
