Obituary of Georgia F. Krauser

Georgia F. Krauser, age 97 of Lewiston NY, died Saturday June 16, 2012 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Georgia was born June 11, 1915 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Ralph and Leonia (Conklin) Brisco and had resided in Lewiston since 1941. She attended the City Hospital of Buffalo School of Nursing in 1959 received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Buffalo. Georgia was employed as a School Nurse by the Niagara Wheatfield School District for many years. On April 10, 1948 she married Earl Krauser. Earl predeceased her on June 6, 1972. Georgia was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lewiston for over 60 years. She was a past Vestry Member, sang in the choir, and served on many committees. Georgia was also a member of the Lewiston Study Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and traveling. Following the death of her husband she traveled abroad many times. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Nanette Piscitelli, Robert Eyres, Ralph and Russell Brisco, Madelyn (Ed) Flynn, and Jacquelyn (William) Fuller. She was predeceased by a brother, Ross Brisco and a sister, Virginia Eyres. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 14, at 10:00 AM in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 400 Ridge St. Lewiston, with the Rev. Claudia Koczka and the Rev. Susan Keppy officiating.
