Ruth Anne Hof (nee Moore) of Youngstown, NY on May 20, 2012. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her immediate family. Survived by the love of her life, George A. Hof, Jr., to whom she was married for 61 years. Cherished mother of her surviving children Joe, (of Warrenton, VA), Amy Kathryn (of Fairport, NY), and Laura (of Wolfeboro, NH). Beloved mother-in-law of Arleen, Richard, and Bob. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Hillary, Annie, Marina, George, and Grace. Born August 5, 1928 in Broken Arrow, OK. Married George A. Hof, Jr. of Buffalo, NY on November 20, 1951. Practicing registered nurse at St. John's Hospital, Tulsa, OK and in the Clarence Central School District, Clarence, NY. Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. A private interment service to be attended by immediate family will be held Friday, May 25, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, NY. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 1, for family and friends at the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 100 Church St., Youngstown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
