Obituary of David R. Kile

David R. Kile, age 90, formerly of Lewiston and Alden, NY, died Thursday April 19, 2012 in Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. David was born in Romulus, NY, the son of the late David and Emma (Robbins) Kile. A veteran of WW II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945. On July 21, 1945 he married Betty Jane (Antolene) Kile. Betty Jane predeceased him on June 3, 2007. David was a Service Foreman, employed by the NY Telephone Co. in Batavia, NY for 37 years, retiring in 1982. He was a former member of the LaSalle Lodge F&AM #1049 in Niagara Falls. He is survived by his children, Diane Kile (David Galson) of Oakland, CA and David M. (Susan) Kile of Clifton Park, NY; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, James N. (Elaine) Kile of Needham Heights, MA; a sister, Teresa Whittier and a brother Kenneth Kile. Services were private at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements were entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston.
