Obituary of Deane V. Cunningham

Deane V. Cunningham, age 87, formerly of Geneva, died Wednesday January 18, 2012 in the Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Newfane, NY after a lengthy illness.
Deane was born January 6, 1925 in Curwensville, PA, the daughter of the late George and Mabel (Greenaway) Prisk. She married Donald Cunningham in 1956 and had moved to Geneva in 1975. Donald predeceased her in 1981. Deane owned and operated Virginia Deane's Bed & Breakfast in Geneva for 20 years. She sold it and moved to Youngstown, NY to be with her family in 2000. While in Geneva, Deane was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a niece, Karen (Stephen) Goodman of Youngstown and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, George T.,Donald, and Lynn Prisk; and sisters, Catherine Sansone, Dorothy Arcurri, and Jenny Shaffer.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, January 21, at 12:00 Noon in the Glenwood Cemetery, Geneva. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wherle Dr. Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston, NY.
