Richard Wilkinson

Richard "Ricky" W. Wilkinson, age 50 of Wilson NY, passed away peacefully under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice on Thursday, January 12, 2012. Ricky was born May 29, 1961 and was a 1979 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School. Ricky was an avid race fan and was actively involved in all aspects of racing throughout his life. On Friday nights he could be found at Ransomville Speedway and other area race tracks. He was last employed as an Equipment Operator, by Dave Walker Construction Co. in Lewiston. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Mary (Skene) Wilkinson of Ransomville; a brother, Jeffrey (Shelly) Wilkinson and 2 nieces of Ransomville; a sister, Pam (Tim) Phillips, a niece and a nephew of Grand Island; and his loving companion, Tisha Beard as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior visitation. Memorials may be made Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.
