Obituary of Elmer G. Schultz

Beloved husband of 56 years of Judith Moreland Schultz; dearest father of Kurt Schultz of Wilson, Greta Schultz (J. Thomas) Briody of Youngstown, and Julie Schultz (Scott) Jessee of Bisbee, AZ. Father in law of Cynthia Tudor Schultz of Lockport. Predeceased by daughter Amy Elizabeth. Proud grandfather of Eberle Schultz (Luigi) Bassani, Hayley Schultz (Daniel) Paterson, Casey Schultz, Patrick and Elizabeth Briody, and Samantha Cross Jessee. Brother of June Pils, Carl (Joyce) and Roger Schultz. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, graduate of Wilson High School Class of 1949, Pete joined the U.S. Air Force in 1950. He served in Germany as an electronic technician, and received an honorable discharge in 1953 with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Buffalo. Pete worked at Moore Business Forms for 36 years in the engineering/special equipment division where he co-authored 3 patents. He was active for many years in the Boy Scouts of America, was a former Mason, and served one term as Board Chairman of the Ruie Road Disciples of Christ Church in the early 1960's. In retirement, Pete indulged his favorite pastimes in home, garden, and yard, and completed many beautiful projects of furniture restoration. A Memorial Service will be held at the Fillmore Chapel United Methodist Church, corner of Ransomville and Youngstown-Wilson Rd.'s in Ransomville, on Friday, January 13, at 11:00 am with the Rev. Anne Cole officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.
