I am a friend of both Gerry and Jeramie and was so SAD to hear about the PASSING of Gerry's beloved father and Jeramie's uncle. 'Tho I never had the PLEASURE nor the PRIVILEGE of meeting Mr. Downs, I understand that he was a WONDERFUL and BELOVED husband, father, grandfather and uncle. I am Jerry's nice who lives in Tennessee. "Uncle Jerry" as we called him was always a very caring and good uncle to us all. After his lengthy illness he is resting in a better place along with his mother and father, Dawn and Herman Downs, my grandparents. May God be with you always.
