William F. Milks, Jr., age 59 of Niagara Falls died unexpectedly on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at his residence after a brief illness. William was born July 15, 1952 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of William F. Milks, Sr. of Sedona, AZ and the late Frances (Watson) Milks and had attended Lewiston Porter High School. A veteran of Vietnam, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970 to his honorable discharge in 1971.William enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. In addition to his father he is survived by a sister, Mary Ferchen of Lewiston; a brother, James "Jamie" Milks of Niagara Falls; two nieces, Michele (Sean) Hausauer and Cindi Ferchen both of Lewiston; and two nephews, Robert Milks of Buffalo and Patrick Milks of Lewiston. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert P. Milks. A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be made to the Heart & Soul Food Pantry 939 Ontario Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14305 or to the Leukemia Society of America WNY Chapter, 4053 Maple Rd., Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
