Obituary of Janice A. Previte

Janice A. Previte, age 70 of Lewiston went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday August 26, 2011 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, PA, after a lengthy illness. Janice was born February 8, 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Nunzio and Josephine (Previte) Pinizotti and was a 1958 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. For over 15 years she was employed as a Teller and as a Supervisor by Marine Midland Bank both in Niagara Falls and in Lewiston. Janice was devoted to her cherished children and grandchildren. Her very strong religious faith touched many lives and served as an example and inspiration to others. Janice loved to do volunteer work in Lewiston and in Charlotte, NC, where she had lived with her daughter for 10 years. She is survived by her children, Frank (Janice) Previte, III of Lewiston, Leonard Previte of the Town of Niagara, Joseph (Michelle) Previte of Erie, PA, and Pamela Previte of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Shannon, Frank, IV, Alicia, Joseph, Josiah, and Leah Previte; a sister, Nancy Nichols of Lewiston, and five nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Myron Pinizotti. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 31, at 11:00 AM in the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown,100 Church St., Youngstown. (Please assemble at Church).
