Pamela E. Condren, age 68 Rainbow Park, died Sunday August 23, 2009 in the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, after a sudden illness. Pamela was born in September 28, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late William and Reta (Staigerwalt) DeRusha and was a 1958 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School. She was employed as the Medical Office Manager by Dr. Gerard Casio in Youngstown for 10 years and then by Dr. Jerome Andres for 9 years. For the past 5 years she has worked for the Ransomville Free Library. Pamela also held a pilot's license and enjoyed flying as well as gardening and flowers. She is survived by her husband, Gerald L. Condren of Youngstown whom she married October 7, 1961; a son, Gerald L. Condren, Jr. of Youngstown; a sister, Patricia (John) Murray of Williamsville; two brothers, William (Marie) DeRusha of Lewiston, and James (Sharon) DeRusha of Corning, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria. The will be no prior visitation. Memorials may be made to "Friends of the Library" c/o Ransomville Free Library, P.O. Box 280, Ransomville, NY 14131 or to the Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville.
