Sheila R. Landers, age 69 of Youngstown , died Tuesday August 9, 2011 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness. Sheila was born August 5, 1942 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Angelo G. and Lorraine (Vivian) Salimbene and has lived in Youngstown the past 30 years. She had worked as a Secretary for both HANCI and Staff Builders in Niagara Falls, and had also been a waitress at the Village Diner in Youngstown. She is survived by her children, Lisa L. Landers, Karla (Kenneth) Kiszewski, Jon A. Landers all of Niagara Falls, and Kevin L. Landers of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her grandchildren, Brason Dobson, Kaitlyn, Stephanie, and Joseph Kiszewski, Kevin Michael Landers and Jon A. Landers,Jr.; two sisters, Sharon (Dom) Pino of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Jean (George) Falbo of Ransomville; a brother, George (Bernie) Salimbene of Niagara Falls, NY; and her dear friends, Nancy and Bob Jones, Pat Finley, and Roland Rosatti. She was predeceased by her former husband, Frederick Landers. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston on Saturday, August 13, from 2 - 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hearing Loss Association of America, 7910 Woodmont Ave., Suite 1200, Bethesda, MD 20814 or to the American Heart Assoc., PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13270-3049.
