I know I am the luckiest kid in the world to have had you as my Dad. Your zest for life, your wisdom and love are a part of me always. Please continue to share your songs and laughter with the angels

I love you Uncle John! No matter how much time passed, when I visited, you always made me feel welcomed and an important part of the family. You always made me laugh with your jokes and amazed me with your wit. I will miss you dearly. xoxox

For all of the fond childhood memories that you created for us. For all of the pain that you endured in your own life and the strength you had to keep smiling and singing. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
Love,
John, Angela, Colin, Ryan, and Ava

Uncle John, your common sense, quiet, steady and solid character will be remembered always. I loved that you loved to sing, enjoyed telling a joke and were good at both, and that you worked with your hands, loved the land and with heart and hard work, built your dreams one at a time. So many loved you. We will miss you. They don't make many men like you anymore. Love, Chicky

It is hard to forget, I said, when there is such an empty space when you are gone."

Uncle John, not because of blood but because of life. You and Aunt Donna gave us our start and were always there for us. Friend and mentor. Your jokes and beautiful voice will be missed. Mark and I love you very mush.

You were one of our dearest friends. We were so blessed to have had you in our lives.
There are so many memories of our great times together, (the cribbage and gin rummy matches, our trips to Alleghany, the many golf outings and so much more)we will treasure them all.

I know its been a while since I last saw you, but I still remember your kindness and generosity. You always treated me like a member of the family and offered me a beer whenever I visited. I hope they have some on tap at your new home.

Mr. Valery, I am sad to learn of your passing and that you had been ill for so long. I will always remember the fun our families had together as neighbors on Baer Road and when we vacationed at Camp Frontenac in Canada. My heart has been heavy with the earlier loss of Vicki and Jeff, and I know that now you are with them again. To Mrs. Valery, Kerry, and all your extended families and friends, you have my deepest sympathy. May all your good memories keep your heart full. If there is anything I can do to help you in some way, please let me know. I miss you and I will always remember Mr. Valery as the kind, funny man that he was.
