Robert Izzo

Robert E. Izzo, age 88 formerly of Youngstown, died Friday April 29, 2011 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, after a long illness. Robert was born June 6, 1922 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late John P. and Maria M. Izzo. He was a graduate of Youngstown High School and of the Kelley Business Institute. Robert was a Custodian, employed by Lewiston Porter Central Schools for 16 years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Youngstown and its' adult Bible Class. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 4, at 11:00 AM in St. John Lutheran Church 420 Lockport St., Youngstown, with the Rev. Richard Blemaster officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will follow in the Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 420 Lockport St., Youngstown, NY 14174. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
