Obituary of Joyce M. Truesdell

Joyce M. Truesdell, of Ransomville, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was 92. Born on July 13, 1932, in Ransomville, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (nee Krohn) Hillman. She married Neil Truesdell on July 22, 1950 in St. James Methodist Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Joyce was a member of the Ransomville Free Methodist Church. Besides her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her beloved husband of 70 years; her siblings, Roger Hillman, Richard (late Rose) Hillman, Shirley (late Donald) Williams; and nephews, Timothy Hillman and Kevin McIntyre. Mrs. Truesdell is survived by her loving children, Richard (Barbara McHenry) Truesdell, Linda (John) O'Connor and Paul Truesdell; former daughter-in-law Sheila (Rick) Price; cherished grandchildren, Sabrina (Greg) Berdizk, Carrie Truesdell, Matthew (Madelyn Fasano) Truesdell, Andrea O'Connor, Sara O'Connor, Leah Truesdell; adored great-grandchildren Skylar O'Connor, Henry Berdzik, Roman Truesdell and Tice Fasano; dear sister Joann (John) McIntyre and sister-in-law Eleanor Hillman; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Joyce's dear friend and caretaker Jodie Neadow for the love and support of Joyce and her entire family. Arrangements entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC.
