Sharon E. York, of Niagara Falls, formerly of Ransomville passed peacefully on October 4, 2024 in the Schoelkopf Health Center. Born in Syracuse, NY, on October 21, 1955, the daughter of Stanley and Lucy (nee Hax) Krzywda.
Sharon was a 1973 graduate of Henniger High School in Syracuse, NY. She went on to earn her Bachelors of Arts in History from Oswego College in 1977, with a long friendship with Teresa Matello (55 years). Sharon worked at TOPS markets as a manager in Syracuse, NY and Niagara Falls, NY, where she had a long friendship with Tina Castile (39 years). She was a member of the Ransomville United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and going on trips, especially Disney).
Sharon is survived by her loving daughters, Nicole York, Jennifer (Christopher) Seger and Jamie (Derek) Renaud; cherished grandsons, Spencer Seger and Mason Seger and granddaughter, Leah Renaud; caring godmother of Sophie Long. Sharon is predeceased by her parents and husband Louis E. York.
