Obituary of Frederick R. Morden

Frederick R. Morden of the Village of Lewiston, NY entered into rest on Friday, September 13, 2024 in Utica, NY at the age of 81. Fred was born on March 6, 1943 in Niagara Falls, NY the son of the late Frederick S. and Josephine (nee Teresi) Morden.
Mr. Morden was a 1961 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and went on to earn his Bachelors Degree from Niagara University, graduating Summa Cumm Laude in 1969. Fred worked for Nabisco Shredded Wheat in Niagara Falls for over 35 years; working in multiple positions including serving as shop steward on two occasions with his tenure with the local BC&T Union.
One of Fred's greatest loves in life was having obtained Eagle Scout at the age of 18. Fred was a staunch conservationist with a conservative mind and adamant supporter of the 2nd amendment.
Besides his parents, Fred is predeceased by his longtime companion of 20 years, Elizabeth Lubas Sirianni.
Mr. Morden leaves behind his former wife Joanne Morden and their two loving sons, Frederick L. Morden and Eric Morden. Fred said he was blessed with two wonderful sons, one who took care of him and the other who took him camping. Which he loved immensely. Mr. Morden passed while camping in the Adirondacks.
Arrangements entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 401 N. Fourth Street, Lewiston, NY. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery at 10 AM.
