Obituary of Electa Jean Komorowski

Electa Jean Komorowski, age 96, of Ransomville, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital of Lewiston, with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Komorowski was born September 26, 1927 in Cherry Tree, PA, the daughter of the late Bud and Alma (nee Garman) Buterbaugh. She married the late Roman J. Komorowski on September 27, 1947, who passed in November 2006. Jean owned and operated the Tradewinds Restaurant five plus years before working at Niagara Falls Country Club and Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown. She worked as a cashier for Bishop's Grocery as well as cleaned the officer's quarters at Fort Niagara during the enlistment/draft times. Mrs. Komorowski enjoyed baking and cooking and helped raising her family. She bowled at Townline and Lewiston. Jean was a former member of the Ransomville Home Bureau and Immaculate Conception Church. Besides her parents and beloved husband, Jean is predeceased by her dear siblings, Garman (late Ann), Avonell (late Chet) Buterbaugh, Louise (late Frank) Yarnal, Sarah Daniels, Roger and Wayne Buterbaugh. She is survived by her loving children, Karen (George) Bell, Raymond Komorowski and Christine (Randy) Goodman; cherished grandchildren, Julie (Harvey) Ausman, Jennifer (Gary Bell) Young, Christie (Tim) Williams, Theresa (Brendan) Monaco, Jessica (Andrew) Jeffery and Angela (Paul) Lamoureux; 10 adored great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law's, Jean and Carol Buterbaugh; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 1-5 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Ransomville Free Methodist Church, 3924 Ransomville Rd, Ransomville at 10 AM.
