Diane F. Bielinski, of Wilson, NY, lost the battle with an unexpected illness on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Born of April 27, 1952 in Lockport, NY, the daughter of Mary (nee Jensen) and the late Floyd "Red" Clark. Diane is the beloved wife of 50 years to Walter "Wally" Bielinski.
Diane worked as a comptroller for her father's companies for many years before retirement. She had the same enthusiasm, work ethic and organizational skills as her dad. Diane was truly tireless in everything she did up to her last day. She was a long standing member at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Wilson, where her family had been charter members. She spent years working Sunday school and mentoring the youth of the parish. Mrs. Bielinski was a member of the church knitting group, "The Knitwits." She was also a member of the church council, choir, the church bell group, a member of the Wilson PTA, involved in numerous 4-H activities with her daughters. In her 60's, Diane developed a passion for running and completed a full marathon and many half marathons and later played Pickleball religiously; a passion after retirement, so much so, that she helped create the now named Diane's Courts on Shore Drive in Wilson.
Always moving and always involved. Diane loved frogs, collecting nutcrackers of every shape and kind, running and Elvis. Spending time at both her church house in Park City, Utah and her cottage in Wilson, NY brought her joy and peace. More than anything, Diane loved her family and friends. When Diane stepped into a room everyone knew they were in good hands. Now, she is in her beloved Lord's hands and she will continue to serve him as she did in her short time on this earth. Diane touched so many lives and was truly a blessing to all whom she encountered. Diane leaves us with a tremendous void in our lives, but a bright light in our memories.
Besides her beloved husband, Diane is the devoted mother of Jenny Bielinski and Rebecca (Kris) Williams; dear sister of Debbie (Sandy) Estabrook, Steve (Marge) Clark, David (Maria) Clark and John (Erin) Clark; cherished grandmother of Kenny Rudz and grand dogs Hilda, Jim, Grux and Stella; caring aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
