Obituary of Philip A. Young
Please share a memory of Philip to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Philip A. Young, age 50, of the Town of Porter, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Philip was born on January 5, 1974 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY, the son of the late Edward G. and Kristin (nee Kosoc) Young.
Philip graduated from Lew-Port High School in 1992 and went on to graduate from Alfred Tech in1994. Philip loved to work on all engines, big and small. He would rebuild and bring back to life what most would have given up on. His pride in his work was impeccable.
Philip is survived by his caring brothers Edward (Layne) Young, Erik Young, Nicholas (Shannon) Young and his dear sister Tara (Jason) Forsay; caring uncle of Tyler (Megan), Lorelei, Aydin and Theodoir. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Arrangements by the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY 14131. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
